Who's behind Blink the owl, and why.
Why we built it
Blink Your Life started with a familiar frustration: cleaning the whole house, putting something away properly, and then never finding it again. After the fact, buying a replacement, only to discover the original a week later. It grew when one of us got ripped off by a service company and wanted to remember never to use them again, and to remember the good one we found afterward. From there was the daily to-do list, where "done" hovered around 50% and we wanted it closer to 100%.
The goal is simple: be the memory for the crucial details of day-to-day life, so forgetting a to-do, a detail you'll need later, or where you put some obscure item stops being a daily annoyance.
It achieves this with three simple things:
1) Reminders for the quick to-dos that need a nudge.
2) Remember for the details you look up months down the line: clothing sizes, paint colors, model numbers.
3) Find for where you physically put things, down to the drawer, with a photo if you like.
One search covers all three.
Who's behind it
Blink Your Life is made by Blinkoncemore, LLC, a small web design and coding firm based in Plano, Texas. The app is a small, independent product: no investors and no growth team. Real people answer support@blinkyourlife.com and will help in any way they can.
What we believe
- True simplicity. Add an entry to one of three modules (Reminders, Remember, or Find), then search all of them later. No folders to design, no tagging system to maintain.
- True consolidation. One central place for all of it: the short-term to-dos, the long-term details you know you'll need months down the line, and every obscure spot you've put something.
- Your memory is private. Your entries and photos are yours, private to your account, encrypted in transit, and never sold. We don't use your content for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- Simple plans. There are just two plans: Free and Unlimited. That's it. The Unlimited plan has one monthly price and one annual price (where one can save 33%). Nothing else, it's that simple.
- Unlimited means unlimited. The Unlimited plan is truly unlimited across the entire app. Store as many entries as you'd like without worry or any price add-ons.
- No ads, ever. The app is free to start and paid for by the people who choose the Unlimited plan.
